The standard we follow
The website acteautobucuresti.ro is built to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, the standard adopted by the European norm EN 301 549 and by Romanian Law no. 232/2022 on the accessibility of products and services.
This statement is made voluntarily. We publish it because it reflects a commitment we take on, not merely a formality.
Conformity status
Based on our own assessment, this website is largely conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. “Largely” means some elements may not be fully conformant, in particular content supplied by third parties.
What we did
- colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large interface elements;
- the whole site can be operated from the keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link;
- semantic structure: one main heading per page, properly ranked headings, navigation landmarks;
- explicit labels on every form field, and error messages that say what to correct;
- the page language is declared correctly, and the RO/EN switcher changes it in the markup too;
- text can be enlarged to 200% with no loss of content or function;
- animation is switched off automatically for anyone who asked for reduced motion in their operating system;
- there is no flashing content, no auto-scrolling and no time limits;
- document checklists can be printed, for anyone who prefers paper.
Known limitations
- The embedded map is provided by Google and its accessibility is outside our control. The full address is also written out as text, right next to the map.
- PDF documents issued by authorities and occasionally sent by email are not ours and may be inaccessible. On request we will tell you their content by phone or at the counter.
